Wow, they grew fast! And to me they are still very cute in their greedy babyness!Very educational, these videos! I hope you continue them.
It will be fun to see them through the whole process, from cute baby chicks to froen chicken in the Freezer. Keep videoing the process.
I was going to say the same thing - I am really enjoying these videos - keep them coming!
We are getting broilers in about two weeks. The only thing I'm worried about is the "dressing them out" part. My husband insists we have to do this ourselves. Everyone I've talked to detests this part of raising broilers, so I'm wary of it. You mentioned you had someone else do it on your earlier post. Who is that?
Nate,In my area of Maryland we have Mennonite businesses that dress out chickens for $1.50 each. However, I am thinking about doing it myself this year.Dale
On all of your posts about chickens, you've never mentioned the one year that we put the chickens in my shelves on the floor of my room. I remember sleeping in that room with the heat lamps making the room a sauna and smelling the delicious fragrant of chicken _______.
