This Weeks CSA

2 large onions
2 bunches of beets
Green Beans
7 zucchini
and I think about 12 ears of corn

  1. CSA is a community supported agriculture. In the spring you purchase a share of a farm for a predetermined price. As the farm produces, they split the goods between all the shareholders. We pick up our share every Thursday after 4pm for 18 weeks. If it is a good year on the farm, you get a lot, if it is a bad year, you will get less. The CSA we chose is not certified organic, but is working towards that and uses all natural practices. We got a notice this week that the cherries and apricots didn't do well, so we won't be getting any.
